Rather than cluttering up your calendar with reminders and using to-do apps that you will never use consistently, use Aloe to keep track of your follow-ups.

When dictating a note, using the Dialer, or during recorded audio, say "Action Item" followed by when you want Aloe to remember and Aloe will an Action Item will be created an Action Item automatically.

Say you want to remember to tell your colleagues about how awesome Aloe is on Valentine's Day at Noon:

  1. Create a New Note
  2. Click on the three dots (...), then use the Add/Edit Reminder menu item to add a reminder:

3. Aloe will send you a text message as a reminder
4. From the Notes menu you can view all your Reminders together by clicking on Notes then Reminders:

5. Action Items in Notes gives you the ability to enumerate each todo. Use Action Items to add them:

You'll see Action Items under View:

If you have an Audio Transcription, you can one-click promote Transcription Segments to Action items:

6. Aloe will add a Reminder to each Note with at least one Action Item so you can easily find note with Action Items using Reminders on the menu.

To summarize, you can do the following with Aloe:

  1. add a reminder to a Note
  2. view a list of all your Notes with Reminders
  3. add any number of Action Items to each Note
  4. promote transcript segments to Action Items
  5. When dictating a note, using the Dialer, or during recorded audio, say "Action Item" followed by when you want Aloe to remember and Aloe will an Action Item will be created an Action Item automatically.
