The organizing principle in Aloe is a Note. Notes are a container that Aloe uses to store everything you want to remember along with the context (when, what, when, where), as follows:

  1. Aloe Tweeting, not book writing. We recommend that you use separate notes for each idea, interaction, and item that you want to remember. For example, if you are using Aloe to track all the wine you like, save each wine as a separate note (e.g. take a photo of the bottle, type in the name, add the #wine hashtag and text it to Aloe). When you search on #wine in the Assistant, Aloe will provide you with a continuous list of all the wine you like. You can text search for specific wine too.
  2. Aloe is not designed like Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Evernote, One Note, Google Keep and Apple Notes. Those tools expect  you to maintain a document (note) for each subject and edit the document each time you want to add new content.  Aloe is far easier to use and tells the story behind each note (who, what, when, where), every other tool is old fashioned. 
  3. Each notes can contain: text, notes & drawings handwritten with a stylus and drawings, dictations, call recordings, photos, video and document attachments.
